How stupid and wrong you were about everything? I've been doing that a lot last few days. I cared, I worried, I gave up my life (and yes I really did) to help others and do for them and I went without and now that I"m old, sick and worthless I have nothing. Absolutley nothing. Can't go back and be young and well again so pretty much a worthless pile of poop. How could I have been so stupid my whole life????? :rolleyes::rant:

Mary none of us can go backwards. We have today only for sure. Everything we do to help others is a wonderful thing in God's eyes. When I feel down I try to look at every positive thing around me. Things like a simple cup of coffee, a flower, my pet, birds, the sound of the rain. a movie, a book. There is always something to be grateful for. Please don't look back. Look forward. You know in your heart you are not worthless. You are a caring kind person and those of us who follow you on here care about you very much. That's a blessing in it's self. Love, Ziggy

I imagine we all can find regrets of our past life where we'd like a "do over"! But looking backwards is no better than procrastinating forward, what really counts is right now.

You are not stupid and are far from worthless, Mary. You are a caring valuable member of this ICN family for one. And though I don't know you in real life, I can't help but believe those same qualities we see here must shine through there as well!
