Bladder transplants?

Why can't they do this? Does anyone know? It seems to me if you can transplant a heart why not a bladder? Faycarole

There was an article on bladder transplants that are being worked on in Germany and hopefully in 2 or 3 years they may be able to do them. I will look for the article. It would be great wouldn't it.

I am with you on that one. My mom has told me when she dies, if her bladder is okay she wants them to give it to me! haha! sweet but funny. I wish they could do it to and have often wondered the possibilty, but considering you need a heart, ect to live..you can just suffer if you have bladder problems. Not fair. Hopefully soon!
