This is what I've been working on for about two weeks folks. This is a tragedy in the making... young teenagers with destroyed bladders that could have been prevented had they known that ketamine, a drug commonly used at raves, would hurt them so badly.

Check it out at:

Good work. I passed this along to my young friends, none of whom are the type to experiment with this, but they may know someone who does. Educating the public is key to preventing a horrible outcome from Ketamine use.

As a former nurse, it was used to help burn patients through the awful procedure of whirlpools and then debrided -- literally picking away- the burned skin to help reveal undamaged skin and encourage healing. It's a very dangerous drug even in the hands of doctors and vets.

It certainly is tragic that people could be developing this horrible condition through drug abuse. I expect that casual users would certainly stop if they were aware it could do this to them.

I also found this webcast where a doctor is saying the same thing. If you skip to the end of the video he mentions it in his final point.

It seems like the IC network are also involved in this website.

Yes, I actually built the ketaminebladdersyndrome.com website and am passionately advocating for awareness here in the USA. It's been very hard because USA urologists have not been trained to ask for drug use when patients present with bladder symptoms. Yikes!
