Having a giant flare for no apparent reason. Ate right, did everything I'm supposed to, got a giant flare anyway. It sucks. It's a recipie for despair when this happens. I've got pyridium, heating pads, and diazepam in me. All I know is I'm sick of peeing all the time. Usually I can keep it down to once an hour now it's like every 5 10 minutes. I don't even care about the pain. I desperately need something to make me pee less.

Hi Hannah,
Have you checked for an infection? It's always a first thought if I have a mystery flare & a sudden spike in symptoms. If you're not feeling better in the morning, I'd put a call in to the doctor when they open. If you start running a fever tonight, call the doctor on call & see if you should go to the ER.
Hope you feel better soon,

I don't think it's an infection. I almost wish it was but my mystery flares tend to baffle everyone. Pretty frustrating. 4 pyridium, a whole 5 mgs of diazepam and a hot soak later ( including stretches, internal massage and pfd stim unit before hot soak) flare very slowly dying down and with god's mercy will keep trending down and away. Will keep an eye out though, thank you!

I really hope you start feeling better. Flares that come out of the blue are the worst. Please let me know if you need to vent. I am willing to listen

I'm right there with you! I did ring my Dr and went in yesterday to drop off a urine sample for culture, however like you I dont suspect its an infection. My symptoms flare up for no reason too...its very frustrating and maddening.

Wishing you well...
