sorry if this question is in the wrong area,
what kind of exercise usually won't make
ic pain & urgency worse??

Everyone is different. I walk 4 t0 5 days a week with my husband.We do 4 miles.I also work out at home with handweights.10# is all I do to keep my arms toned up and strong.We also bike ride. I am 67 years old and need to be able to do for myself if hubbie would pass on before me. He exercises too.My IC has not been bothered by exercising.Jo
Walking is usually one of the better tolerated exercises. Some patients also do ok on the elliptical trainer, rowing machine, and treadmill. Some light weights are ok, depending on the exercise.
The book, "Heal Pelvic Pain" is a great resource to learn what kinds of exercise can be beneficial for IC patients. It's available in the ICN shop linked at the top of this page.
