SO even though I deal with the craziness that is my life, I still find time to enjoy those small moments that are unreplaceable. My youngest daughter is about 20 months old now. Her name is Avery. She has been wild since the day she was born. She is "vibrant", that is the word I use to describe her. LOL. My older daughter is 4 and her name is Lydia. Over the weekend we have moved Avery into a toddler bed (she learned to climb out of her crib) and she is doing so well! I took her to Target, and let her pick out a new bedding set for her "Big girl bed" and she was SOOO excited when we got home all she wanted to do was lay in her bed. And Lydia has been such a big help. She has been encouraging her, and telling her what a good job she is doing. I have the sweetest kids :smile tee

So today Avery walked right up to me and said "Bathroom Mommy" SO I took her into the bathroom, and she took off her diaper, got up on the potty, and went #1 and #2!!!! She is so tiny, and it is so funny to see her sitting on the potty! It made me so happy, and proud for her!

No matter how down I am feeling, everytime I see Avery and Lydia, all I want to do is smile. They are the reason that I am fighting so hard right now. To wake up every morning and have two smiling faces looking at me, is absolutely marvelous. No matter how painful it is, everything I do is worth it because it makes their lives good.

My baby girls are growing up so fast!

I am so happy that there is a Happiness Corner. Despite IC, there are so many wonderful things to think about, and on nights like tonight, where I can't sleep because I am hurting, it is wonderful to have something to tell everyone that is positive!

Thank you for sharing your girls with us.. They sound like such sweet little darlings!

It does help to think of what we have that makes us smile.. I know for me it does.. That is what keeps me going.. If I was to just focus on the negatives I would go crazy with this disease..

So you made a very valid point! Thank you!!:smile tee

Thank you for being interested in my babies! I'm really glad this happiness corner exists, because sometimes after all the doctors, and medications, I just want to read about the good things people still have in their lives, despite the conditions they are put in.

So once again, thank you for caring. It means a lot to me.

Children are truly gifts!

Avery and Lydia sound so sweet! It was long ago that my kids were young but your post brought back those old memories for me. Thank you! I'm watching my 'babies' live those moments with their children now.

Thank you to everyone for your replies. I truly do not know what I would do without them in my life. Whenever I am feeling down, or hurting, I can always count on them to cheer me up, or just sit and cuddle with me.

I am glad that I could bring back fond memories for you Vickib. I know how much my mother loves to see them, and to get to be the Grandma. I have heard that being a grandparent is one of the best experiences in life, and I am happy that you get to see your children have children.

Despite everything, it really is a beautiful life I lead.

It was actually a really good day today. I stay home all but 15 hours a week with my kiddos, and we get to do so much fun stuff. We fingerpainted today, and tomorrow we are going to the pool. :woohoo: Then my sister-in-law brought my GORGEOUS baby niece over, her name is Jewel Lynn, and she is 5 1/2 months old. I honestly didn't know I could love someone else's babies so much until I became an Aunt.

I will find some pictures tomorrow and put them here, so I can show them off. I make some pretty cute babies if I do say so myself. hehe.

Thanks everyone, and I hope you all had a wonderful evening!
