Deals just usually don't happen for me often.
So the story is I went to the mall to look for board shorts (got 2 July 4th parties sat.).....couldn't find any...:(........so I saw a sign that said clearance.
It was a big rack of jeans in medium, dark and white colors. The sign said $6.97......I thought surely it was a mistake. So I get three pairs.....one in each color.........YES......they have my size!
I get to the register and he takes off another $1.00 each!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited!!! I totally forgot why I went there!:)
Do you have a great deal story to share?

That's how my shopping trips turn out! Buy hey, a good deal is a good deal, and goes in the win column!

A few weeks ago, I found a pair of pants that had originally sold for $48 --- it was the last pair in that style and was marked something like $12.99 --- that pair was my size and fit perfectly --- when I went to the register to pay, they were 50% off sale price!
I do love bargains!

The best deal I ever got was in a hospital ER room in Spain.
The doctor there felt so sorry he couldn't do anything for me, he tore up the bill!
But, shopping? I felt like a genius yesterday at Ross. I found table top candle holders that are the same brand & style as my sconces & totally tie together the decor in my living room. The set of 3 was $6.99 (and I already had candles at home to put on them)!

Ok- this is food shopping. My son works at HEB (grocery store); he has a discount card that I use and I get so much % off on the store brand stuff. (Nothing wrong with store brand stuff for the most part,) anyway I went there the other night and I had a few coupons plus some that were offered when you bought something plus when I gave them the card I also saved some more (like $7.00 so between that and the coupons I cut out $10.00- total grocery bill was $50.00. Not too bad. I then put that $10.00( or whatever in a can and save it for a rainy day.)
Also I went to Old Navy last week and they had some real nice T-shirts for $2.99 regular $10.00 so I picked up 5.

I was nosing around one of the "party" stores yesterday. I looked on the $1.00 table and found packages of 20 blue napkins. I bought two. $2.00 for 40 napkins...unbelievable!!! Just in time for the 4th of July. :woohoo:
So excited! I went "school clothes" shopping today & got 3 tops for $5.56 each (knit, v-neck, 3/4 length sleeves- a purple floral, a navy floral, & a solid black), a skirt, a blouse, & 2 necklaces for a total of $74.00! (According to the receipt, the amount saved was $88). This will set me up for the beginning of the school year. I just need a few things for now, since I'm only 1/3 of the way to goal weight. Total lost so far-11-1/2 pounds, 23-1/2 to go!, hooray for Weight Watchers:)
