trigonitis??

Hi

Went to Gp this morning, am in bad flare, Infection gone to kidney!!(Whoopy do!!) so was given "Horse tablets!! horrid big things!! AND spoke about the report from my Cystoscopy!!! Apparently They took a biopsy from my TRIGONE due to inflammation and redness?? So both are linked the trigone is the enterance to both utherals and so when infection strikes the poor old kidney gets it and having a stone just puts the icing on the cake eh!! AGONY!! I am still waiting for Biopsy results and am praying its not a seriuos trigone thing as can be cancerous!! although being 5 weks since the Op do you think they would have informed me by now??? Feel so sicky today am off work till saturday and feel poohy!!

Sorry you feel so bad!

I wish I could help, but I don't even know what the TRIGONE is or where it is in relation to kidneys. Hope someone on this board board and can help. I hope you are feeling better soon!

trigone is the bottom of your bladder it is shaped like a traiangle. and has 2 openings. one of the openings leads from the kidney to the bladder and that is the one i have problems with. If you tap Trigone into your search engine you will find it has alot in common with IC in a way. maybe alot suffer from it but donta realise.
