This time it's at my own fault.:headbang: At work this past afternoon in the breakroom we were celebrating my bosses secretaries' birthday and the cake was chocolate:shake: It was a small piece but I washed it down with some Hawaiian punch. Well I know I shoud have had water but my baldder had been behaving really well all week so I took a chance. By the time I got home this evening my bladder was not very happy. The burning hit me on the drive home and hasn't went away since. OUCH! My frequency is also back to where I am peeing every on average about every 30 minutes.:toilet::toilet: I have tried baking soda and water a couple times but to no avail. Last weekend I had short lived flare that lasted about 36 hours (only frequency) and here I am again on Friday night with an upset bladder again:cussing: I hope this one goes away just as quickly. I hate having such a sensitive bladder. I HATE IC!

I do hope the choc cake was to die for tho I could've passed on that as I don't care much for choc or cake lol...., but shoot, who can resist the rare Hawaiian Punch when it is right in front of you??!!;) I'm sure it was all tasty but know we feel your pain, and also know that we are all human IC or not and sometimes we just gotta have Hawaiian Punch:smile tee. I hope your flare is short-lived, as food flares can and do often hit hard but can often pass sooner than we would think. Take care, drink lots of water to flush your bladder, and maybe some prelief or baking soda in water will help??

I am feeling about 50% better tonight. The burning is starting to let up. I'm still dealing with quite a bit of frequency. That seems to always take a while to go away. I am getting anxious to get the cast off of my left leg. It is scheduled to come off this Friday. I can hardly wait. We are having a heat wave in here in the DFW metroplex and being in a cast and on crutches makes things even worse. Of I will probably be wearing a boot for awhile after Friday and I will have to do some rehab for my achilles tendon also. But at least with the boot I can take it off to shower and sleep at night. Until next time, goodnight everyone.
Oh, I so know what you mean! I baked a chocolate cake for my students a few weeks ago & nearly ate a piece myself... The only thing that stopped me is I'm the teacher & I can't write myself a bathroom pass!! :lmao:
I hope you feel better very soon!
