I was doing good, back into a flare. Started on Memorial Day. I am sure 50%of this is stress related.
I have pain meds from doc. but I don't want to take this all the time.
I need help/input on pain meds over the counter. I have been taking tylenol.
It doesn't help much. ( works good for joint pain though)
Can you guys help me?
I can't wait for bed time so I can knock myself out with Ambien CR
My flares are worst in the later part of the day.
thanks guys for listening

For occasional use, (like when I was in a flare) I used the OTC forms of pyridium - either the AZO Urinary Pain Relief (I think that's what they call it now, lol) or there was another brand I'd find called Uristat. They are the ones that turn your urine orange, but they work to numb things up, used to be a big relief for me!

Sometimes even taking a little baking soda in water will help --- or if you need to control sodium intake, Tums are a good substitute.
