Ic even tho cysto was clear?

is it possible to have IC even tho my cysto/hydro was clear? i did have SOME relief after words.

My cysto/hydro was clear. Dr. said that my bladder looked totally normal, but based off of my postive response and symptoms, I was diagnosed.

Yes, it's possible. Were biopsies taken? Sometimes a diagnosis is made from those.

Yes, when I first had the cysto/hydro it was clear- it wasn't until the doctor received the biopsy report that I found out I had IC

My cysto/hydro was normal. So was my potassium sensitivity test. I was still diagnosed with IC based on normal urinalysis and cultures and my symptoms. And the fact that once I started the IC Diet a lot of my pain decreased.
