Ugh, Period for a Month!

Seriously, this is getting old. My period was 3 weeks late, which has never happened before. I'm 33 with endo, but the monthly torture has always been right on schedule. I thought it stopped, then bam some pink spotting, then the brown, then BAM full on period again. Every time I think its gone it comes back. Has this ever happened to anyone? The gyno took some thyroid blood tests and I have another ultrasound but this is really annoying. I was on macrobid and then Zithro (spell?) for Sinusitis, not sure if antibiotics can mess with your period. Oh - not pregnant, no bf...

All I can do is tell you what I went through when I began going through the change. It really is a good thing that you are seeking answers from your doctor.

I was 38 and missed my period. I thought I was pregnant. Did and EPT and it was negative. Whew!!! Hubby and I were happy about that. Went to see my doctor and he told me that no, I was not pregnant but instead, I was beginning Perimenopause.

It took 5 years of irregular periods and some of the usual symptoms before I had my last period. This one lasted one month. Then it was over. That was 22 years ago. I can't hardly believe it has been that long.

I hope you and your doctor are able to get to what is causing these changes for you very soon. :)
