Nausea

I just wondered what the others are doing for extrem nausea!!!! It is bad enough to have to deal with the other diseases, but this is it! What nausea meds. have you used. The doctor is going to put me on Zofran. I know it is used for cancer treatments. I hope it works for me.

I have taken zofran and it did work for me. I get extreme nausea from pain meds.

I take Tigan (trimethobemzamide), it is not used that much, but it works very well for me. Phenergan also works for me, but it makes me extremely sleepy, so I use it as a last resort.

I've had Zofran before. I was given it when my other anti-nauseants failed. It worked really well for me. Right now I'm managing my nausea with Metoclopramide. (I think it is apo Maxoran) It works really well too.

I have used Zofran recently and it works very well for me. This is a good medication for most because in general it has very few side effects compared to other nausea meds.

Phenergan works great for me . It can make you very tired if you are not used to it, of course when you right a certain level of sick that is not a bad thing.

I take Oral Zofran that goes under the tounge and dissolves in minutes. It works faster than taking it by mouth in tablet form, which takes 20-30 minutes to work, if at all in my case.......I also take the highest amount you can take which is 8 mg. It works every time.
