vegan diet

Has anyone found relief with a vegan diet?
I talked to a woman who had IC for 2 years, tried "everything under the sun", then went on a strict vegan diet and hasn't had it for 3 years.
I'm doin' it.

I am sure it has to do with it being a very alkaline diet which is what wou;d help control the IC symptoms. There is no cure for IC but it can be controlled.

Do you know if she just went completely vegan and ate the trigger foods or was she vegan and also followed the IC diet? If that makes sense...
