Anyone take Provigil?

I have been scribed a medication called Provigil. It's only approved by the FDA for narcolepsy, but I was given it for my constant tiredness & to get my butt out of bed. It's a fairly new drug & a lot of drs don't even know about it yet. I was just wondering if anyone else has taken Provigil. I'm worried that since it's a stimulant it may also stimulate my bladder. And I'm also wondering if it works. I really hate to add another medication to my long list, but if it helps, I will. Any advice given would be appreciated.

The pain clinic at Loma Linda gave it to me to off set the sedation caused by some of the meds. Worked well, no obvious side effects.

I use Provigil occasionally, so I don't go to sleep while driving cross-country, for example. I found that it revs up my metabolism, so I get hot rather easily. I started with too high of a dose, & had trouble getting to sleep after I'd taken it, so the doctor dropped my dose. I did not notice any problems with my bladder, and I felt much safer while on it.
