Hi everyone,
Well so far so good today - no uristat - yet. I had the easter brunch and tried to watch what I ate. Dinner is in an hour.
I called my mom who lives in FL and I told her everything. She ended up telling me she went through the same thing when she was my age - 39. Said she was 38 - had terrible frequency problems, had panick attacks and back then the doctors all thought she was nuts - including my father. I remember her when she was on librium - she was kind of weird - kind of zoned out all the time.
Well her thought on this is HORMONES. She said could be perimenapausal (sp) since she and all the other females in the family started at this age and we've all had what we thought are "nervous breakdowns". And the symptoms of these so called breakdowns were the IC, panick attacks, night sweats (which I have been getting on and off for the past two months now) and I'm ALWAYS hungry. I remember when I first went the doctor they thought I was pregnant until the test came back negative.
So I just had to share this - anyone think hormones might have something to do with such sudden changes? I mean I can see people having this for years - chronic bladder problems but what about the people where it just hits right out of the blue? That is what happened to me - never been sick in my life until this.
Hope everyone is having a good Easter and can enjoy some good food!
