pudental nerve blocks

Hi,
I get pudental nerve block shots weekly. I get two shots, one on the left side and one on the right. In each side I get 10 ml of lidocaine. I was wondering if this was a normal dose? If others get this done I woul like to hear what dosage you get and how often. Also, if they are helping you. Please respond asap. Thanks a bunch!!

I had many of those blocks done but they were not successful in taking my pain away. Perhaps someone else of this board can help answer your question. We are all different, whatever your Doctor chooses to put in there for a block, they must have reasons, maybe next time you go in, you could ask why that dose or is it harmful?
