Awwww. Thanks Y'all. Actually, my age isn't really bothering me. I thought it was this morning but then I realized I am more secure and happier as I get older so that's OK with me. Uh...my aging metabolism - not so much.

No big plans today. I have had a really nice day though. We went for lunch at a really great Spanish cafeteria where everyone is super friendly. My daughter got a chance to practice a little Spanish and there is food I can eat there so I was happy.

Yesterday I did something nice and splurged on myself. I bought some fake coffee called Pero. I tried it today and almost fell over! That stuff is delish!!!

Thanks again everybody. I am glad could celebrate my birthday here. Later, I a going to eat this super yummy IC friendly cheese danish instead of cake and my family will sing happy birthday. I am really looking forward to it. I will even have "coffee". Yippee!

Thanks Girls. And I mean Girls. The more I call myself a girl the younger I feel. Sadly, I am in no way offended when someone I don't know calls me Honey or Miss. Really, I would be thrilled if someone called me Young Lady. It makes me feel like a teenager!

It's all relative. Try hanging out at the senior center,...I notice lots of old men call me Young Lady!

These last few years have brought a strange turn of events in how I am addressed by strangers. Quite often younger (30ish) female wait-persons in restaurants who I've never before met have called me "sweetie". I have a sneaking suspicion I've crossed some invisible age line that triggered this new moniker.
