Probiotic Acidophilus

I'm totatally confused we can't eat yogurt, but we can take the same stuff is in pill form? What is the difference between probiotic and acidophilus? Different bacteria?

Dear Jane -

A probiotic has more than just acidophilus. The one I take whenever I need to take an antibiotic has Bifdum and Logum, which are short for much longer names plus the acidophilus. I can't tell you why it doesn't bother IC bladders like the yogurt itself.
