Doctor Visit

Hey Guys,

I went to the Uro today and he did a cystopsy(OW!!!!) and said my bladder looked fine. The next thing he wants to do is a pelvic and abdominal CAT scan. And if that is normal, then he wants to test for IC. So hopefully I can get some answers soon!!!!

I dont know about Urelle.I am going for my 2nd Cysto next week.I also need to have a Cat scan.My Dr doesnt think that I have IC, I dont know what I have yet...its been months taking the drs(2 diff.Uro's)to figure out whats wrong with me...have the urgency,frequency and blood in urine...had a hydro but it didnt help me.
Hope all goes well with you at your appts.Are you in any pain?

Yes, I am in pain. Mostly back pain. Sometimes its really really bad, and sometimes imunaware of it, but it's there. I also have pain in my lower abdomen and burning. And right after I urinate all the pains are worse. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!

Kim,Im sorry that you are in so much pain!:grouphug:
I also have the lower back pain and sometimes it feels like sharp jabbing knife pains!!!I dont have the burning though...I have this constant urge to pee:cussing: but nothing comes out:( Its been 4 months now and I still dont know what the hell is wrong with me:rant: Im so sick and tired of this!!! I keep retaining alot of urine.

I am so sorry you your having this pain. I had the same symptoms for a year. In my case I had kidney stones and kidney infections and then I was diagnosed with IC. Since the cysto/hydro in March .I have had no kidney or lower back pain till now and it is coming back.. My doctors keep saying its all related.. I hope you can get some answers to your pain soon . Best wishes and hopefully you can enjoy Easter..

Hi Kimmie,

You sound some like me... I have the pelvic pain, but my most severe pain is my back, just below my left rib cage. Kidney ultrasounds and tests came back normal. Dr thinks it's IC but no diagnosis yet. I have my first cysto on Monday and helped so much to see the "ouch!" lol. I'm extecting pain, just not sure if it will be as bad, or worse, than the VCU I had back in March, which came back normal.

Hang in there... hopefully we'll both be diagnosed with SOMETHING soon. I know sometimes it's just as bad to hear "everything was normal" as to hear it's bad news. Just having an answer, I know, will relieve so much stress.
