Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I told you all that I would let you know how I made out at the uros. He was great. He was telling me about the insterim. I said I didnt' want to go that route yet. I said how about lifting my bladder up and trying medication and he said ok. I said let s try that first and if that doesn't work then the insterm. Now I am on impram. just started it last night. I have wierd dreams with it. My surgery is set for sept5 at 1:30 pm. I will be over night at the hospital. It will be at Metro West in Natick MA. I won't be on the computer that night or the next day. I will let you know how I make out. I will be out of work for 3 weeks. As a cashier, I do some heavy lifting. I lift cat food , dog food, trunks, bundles. You name it. Mirowaves. I just wanted to update you all on this. Please if anyone has any suggestions or ideas or had this done please post or email at auntiedebbief@aol.com. Thanks everyone.

Good luck Deb, I had a bladder tack when I had my hysterectomy 6 yrs ago and they told me not to lift anything over 5lbs for about 6 weeks. Don't get in a hurry to do anything . Take care of yourself. I'll be praying for you. angel grouphug grouphug angel

Hi, I have tried most treatments for IC but am presently having Cystistat instillations with only slight improvement.

Can someone please let me what and how lifting the bladder up helps with IC pain? Thanks for any "interesting" details.

For ME and that's heavy on the "ME" it is what set the pain portion of this disease off like a firecracker. Up until the suspension I did not suffer pain from my IC.......

Thankyou for your posts and reponses. My bladder dropped while the uro was doing a uro dymanic study test on me and the urgency and frequency and the wetting and leaking has gotten worse for me. I don't know if it helps with ic pain but I know it will help me with my frequency and urgency and wetting and leaking. Ihave prayed about this and I am going to do it. I am in pain and I do flare from time to time. I will keep you all posted.
