Can Lifting Something Cause a Month-Long Flare?

My 25 pound dog was very sick about 6 weeks ago, and I lifted him and ran up 2 flights of stairs to rush him off to the vet.
Now I've been in continuous urethral burning pain since then.
Can physical exertion caise a long flare just like eating something wrong would?

Yes, it does seem for many that physical stress, among other things, can cause an increase in symptoms or a flare. It is so for me. Hope you feel better soon!

I lifted our dalmation a couple of months ago and thought I was going to totally collapse from the pain.
