I think a support group that could meet in person once every month or two would be great.

I live in Owensboro. I had heard at one time that there was a support group here. But haven't been able to find it. If we could get enough people to be interested we could find a place to meet once every couple of months. Or if you need to just talk I'm available.

Do you like your uro? I drive to Murray, which is a 3 hr. drive for me. That's really kind of rough whenever I'm hurting.

I need medicaid and it is hard to get it here, we make just a tab bit to much. Is any one on disablity?

Hi everyone I live close to elizabethtown myself I would love to get together with a group also. It would help to be able to talk to people who understand. Even family who love you do not understand. When I go into a flare I freak out I never know how long it will last and it always scares me because I feel like it may never end. I have a lot of questions. for instance how do you cope with your own body betraying itself?!

Crystal@Embracing-Childbirth.com just put IC or something of the nature in the subject line! I am ALL FOR Starting a support group if you get this post in a week, Sept 2005 or in a year! Email me, I am serious about starting a group and demanding proper care. I was in ER this past weekend.
I was treated badly. BADLY just for being in pain. I had my first IC Flare with blood in the urine. I did not know there was such a thing as an IC flare with blood in the urine. I get SO STRESSED out when I even think about it. I have been called a Junkie.
What a HORRIBLE WORD! It just makes me want to bawl my eyes out, or get really mad. Not sure which one to do!
So lets all stop crying, lets all stop getting mad and DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

Hey Maybe you can get some help with your meds...there is a lady out on ring road that helps people get meds. Maybe you can call me sometime and I will give you the info!!!
