It seems I may have endometriosis and I was wondering if anyone could help me. I had severe pain this month that I couldn't get a handle on. I used a little codeine but it just made me dizzy. Ibuprofen killed my bladder and I am scared for next month.

What does everyone else do? I have BP problems. Is there a very low dose birth control pill that works for some people? I have heard other women talk about the Vivelle dot. I am going to call my doc tomorrow and I need a new gynecologist. I'm just petrified about the week before my period. The pain was so severe I couldn't catch my breath.

Thanks.

I don't have endo but have always had awful painful cramps with heavy bleeding during my periods. Only thing that helps now is 550 mgs. of Naproxen. Oh, birth control helped out a lot lot lot too. Actually more then the naproxen. Forgot all about that. What is the vivelle dot?
I dread my period too. I know how awful it is going to be but then I have always dreaded it.

I think Naproxen is Ibuprofen so that's a no-no for me now. I am hoping I can get an extremely low dose hormone that won't affect my BP.

I am going to look up the Vivelle dot on google.

hi...i have endo. i was on the lupron injections for 6 months which put me through menopause. the first 3 months on them i was still in so much pain. i first used codeine and that didnt help so i went on vicodins. after the 4th shot i felt great and it even kept my ic pain mild. once i was off of them i went on a low dose continuous bc pill, seasonique. and i was fine, the ic came back though. i take seasonale now which is a little stronger but that is because my insurance wont cover the seasonique because there is no generic. seasonale is continuous and comes generic. if you have any questions about the injections please pm me. take care!!!
