I think it's called Enablex. It's the commercial and it has balloons in it. Has anyone tried this medication? The only antispasmodic drug I have tried are Vesicare and Detrol LA. Detrol LA helped, but it made me get upset stomach. Vesicare didn't work for me at all.

Thanks

I may ask for that the next time I see my doctor. I have seen so many urologists. I don't see one right now. I just see my primary care doctor. He may have sample packs of Enablex. I don't know if Enable is very popular. Most of the time I see commercials on TV for Vesicare and Detrol.

Enablex was the newest OAB drug at the time my Uro prescribed it for me a couiple of years ago. The latest one I believe is Sanctura. Enablex runs a lot of ads in magazines, and I have seen a few on TV.

It didn't help me. Nor did Sanctura or Vesicare. It really sucks.

:( Sorry that those meds didn't help. It's so depressing when a doctor give a medication, then come to find out we are allergic to it or have bad side effects. In the past, Macrobid was fine for me, but now when I took it a week ago I was feeling terrible! As we get older, the meds that we used to take in the past can give us different side effects? The only overactive bladder meds I have tried are Vesicare and Detrol. I was always given a sample to try for a week. I'm seeing my primary care doc on Wed to test my bladder again. I do get frequent UTIs, once a month or so I think. I feel like I have a UTI, but usually it's negative. I do the 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda with water whenever I feel really bad. I drink tons of water at work too. I do hope Enablex, Ditropan or Scantura works. Those are the only 3 overactive bladder meds that I can think of.
