adrenal function

I'm not sure where to put this but I saw a new doctor this morning, who was wonderful, and went into great detail about adrenal function, leaky gut and bladder, with IC. Any comments or dealings with adrenals?

Interesting thought I have been seeing my endocrynologis because I am having adrenal problems. They were sure from my blood work that I had adrenal or pituitary tumors and even discussed surgery options with me. I went for a cat scan and mri and all is clear, however my blood work is off and my cortisol is high (I have gained 30 lbs despite excercising 5 days a week and not being able to eat much due to the IC diet). We are testing my cortisol yet again, because for some reason 4 other tests saying it is too high is just not enough for my Dr. (I am switching of course). I notice since I have started to gain the weigh in early August that my IC has gotten much worse,so I am guessing there is some connection. I have an appt. at the Univ. of Penn with one of the head of endo. and will let you know what they can tell me. Let me know if you hear anything.
