Hi!

I really don't know where to start:confused:. Last month a few days after my birthday I started experiencing what I thought was just abdominal pain. Since I have GERD I attributed the pain to that. It started off as a dull throbbing pain and gradually increased to the point that I could not bear it. On top of that I was experiencing pain and pressure in the bladder area as well as constipation. Since I had never experienced it before, I contacted my gastro doctor she suggested I use my antispasmatic and Miralax. Well the following week I was scheduled for a pelvic and abdominal CT. Both came back negative except for fibroids. I have had fibroids removed and the ones I have are currently stable. She then suggested I see my Gyno NP. My NP found nothing, a pelvic sonogram showed nothing, urine test came back negative. She put me on Cipro just in case. Two days later I was doubled over and in the ER. The ER doctor basically stated that I had all the tests that he would order and he can do nothing for me. I tell him, I need to figure out what is causing the pain, I can't bear it. He orders blood work, another urine test, everything comes back negative. He sends me home iwth percocet. The next few days are a blur and I finally see my gastro. She tells me everything is fine but decides to up the dose of the antibiotic just in case. I continue with the antipasmatic and the pain finally disappears a few days later. Last week a few days before my period it starts up again. I never connected my cycle to it prior to now. When it first started it was a few days before my period. The pain is back along with the pelvic spasms. I though I was losing it until I read the posts here. I can not tell you grateful I am for that. I have an appointment with my Gyno NP next Monday. She is going to review my past sono results and discuss options to rule out other medical issues. I plan on asking for a referral for a GYNO-Uro if there are such persons as well as about this condition. It all seems to fit like a puzzle, all of the symptoms. I just want to be able to manage the pain so I can function. Anyway thats my story and I'm happy I found all of you here.
