:hi:
Has anyone here ever gone to an IC Education Day? Will there be others from this board there? Just wondering ... I'm going and would love to see you there.
I have made plans to go to Houston and am very excited about the conference. In fact, I have made my Holiday Inn reservation for the night preceding the conference. I am mailing in my registration form, so why worry about the 7:30 registration time?:)
We may all have to make plans to meet! I only live an hour away. I'm thinking I should have my husband attend. Maybe, he'll learn something!
I think we will learn a lot. I live over 3 hours away.

I would love to go but know we have plans for that weekend. I only live about 4 1/2 hours from Houston, in Fort Worth. I hope they have something like that up this way sometime.:)

Blue, I think I will recognize you from your picture. In case you don't recognize me I will be the one with Evian water in hand at all times. :biglaugh: I'm looking so forward to meeting you and liz2 and everyone!
Another girl quit work. We were already running short, and working extra hours. I work nights, and I would have to take off the night before, and the day of, to be able to attend. Right now, in my bosses words, I would have to call in dead to get a day off! LOL!
I'm so mad at the girl who quit. She could have at least given a notice. She called 50 minutes before her shift on Saturday night, and said she wouldn't be in. My supervisor had to work the entire night. I had been here since 3pm. I was supposed to work from 3pm till 11pm, I usually work 11pm to 7am. I ended up working 3pm until 2am. My supervisor worked 7pm till 7am! I know she's worn out. She has her own medical stuff. She has Reumatoid Arthritis, and it flares up under stress, or if she get's too tired. She completely understands my medical condition. But, right now, we have 3 dispatchers, 2 full time and 1 part time to try to fill 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week.
I'm so sorry everyone! I really was looking forward to meeting you all.
If this comes to Houston again. I'll be there for sure. Is one coming anywhere near the Houston area soon? Maybe, I'll be able to get my husband to attend. Does anyone know how I find out where these confernced might be in the future?
