Hi everyone.My mother is FINALLY having the botox next week and is FINALLY going to start on her physical therapy.She is having the procedure done next thursday.I am very hopeful that this will work for her.The uro is injecting 100 units in the uretha sphincter only because that is where she is having her biggest problem at.Not in the bladder itself.She says that injecting it in her uretha will relax it so that she can urinate on her own without catheterising.:thumbsup: She has had many success with it done this way with her patients.So please say a prayer for mom:pray: and I will let you all know how everything goes:thumbsup:

That sounds better than having to self-cath! Is she a gynecologist herself?

How many patients has your Mom's doctor injected with botox? Botox in and around the bladder is still very experimental. Some people I know have had excellent results. I, however, did not get the results that I had hoped for. Good luck to your mother.
