Diagnosing IC

My Dr. (Dr. Robert Moldwin of NY) does not do hydrodistentions anymore. He told me last week that some people get positive results and end up not having IC, and some people get negative results and end up having IC. After reading about the horrible experiences that so many of you have had with hydrodistention, I think i will choose not to have it. I am being treated for IC anyway, so why should I cause myself more pain than I have already? I have been seen by a large team of doctors of related specialties at Cleveland Clinic in Fl. and so far, I am back where I started from being told to do what Dr. Moldwin told me to do in the first place. I live in Fl. in the winter and NY in the summer. Krisssy
