What's the best thing to deal with the pelvic pressure or flare like symptoms after having a cysto-hydro. I just had one today...I know the pain while tinkling will just wear off, but I'm having pains in my pelvic area and back and my antibiotic makes me really hot all the time. So what have you done to manage your pain after the cysto-hydro? What works best for all of you?:hmm:

I got some pain medicine it's 10-500 Loritab, but it doesn't quite take the pain away, it more or less just relaxes me and sends me off to dreamland. But an ice pack works SO much better for me than heating pad... I had never tried cold pack over heating pad until last night and wow...what a difference :woohoo:

I wonder if Loritab is similar to Prosed. That is what they gave me, and it really seems to help. I'm still on it from my cysto that was done last Friday.

Lortab is a narcotic pain medication of Acetaminophen and hydrocodone.
Prosed is indicated for the relief of discomfort of the lower urinary tract caused by hypermotility resulting from inflammation or diagnostic procedures and in the treatment of cystitis, urethritis and trigonitis when caused by organisms which maintain or produce an acid urine and are susceptible to formaldehyde.
