Looking to start a local support group in LV

Hi! I was wondering how many other people in Las Vegas that also have IC would be interested in starting a local support group. I have met one person so far, babsRN, and we think it would be great to get a group together. If interested let me know. Thanks!:kiss:

I think it's a great idea. And if you contact Jill (jill@ic-network.com) she'll give you some helpful information on how to get started. You might also talk to your urologist about it --- I know my uro's office is willing to advise IC patients about support meetings.

Thanks Donna for the feedback. I conveniently work with the urologist Rita and I see and at the hospital where we receive all of our care. He told me it was ok to approach IC patients as they are seen in the clinic and to place fliers in the exam rooms once we get this together. Rita and I spoke on the phone for the first time yesterday. The best thing is that after people receive the diagnosis, he is going to allow me to do case management for the IC patients and patient teaching. Hopefully I, along with Rita can further our cause and understanding in Las Vegas. Thanks again.
