Sharp stabbing pain...

I swear there used to be a "What is Your Pain Like" thread but i have been unable to locate it.

I am having constant stabbing pains in my bladder and on my lower left abdomen that shoots down my leg every now and then. Is this common or should i call my OB-Gyn?

I have had ovarian cysts before but this doesn't feel like that.

I have an IC Specialist, but was trying to decide if this comes with the territory. I am already on all the normal IC meds.

YES! I use to get these stabbing pains.. It was like I was hitting my funny bone but the pain was in my lower side.. I have NO idea what was causing this.. My dr said prob nerve related. But anyhow this is when I had ask for Topamax because I researched it was helping people with Diabetes who had nerve pain in their legs and describe the pain pretty much the same. After I started the Topamax about a year ago.. I have not had those pains anymore.. Thanks goodness because they would almost knock me down..

That is exactly what this feels like...I was hoping i wasn't nuts! I never had this pain before my cysto and was wondering/hoping it was IC related. I am already taking all the meds in my sig and i have a bit of pain meds left, but that isn't even touching it. Not sure what else my doc could do to help this...i wonder if i will have to ride it out.

Just left a message regarding this with the doc's office. Hopefully someone will call back today!

Funny you mention the cysto/hydro because I never had that pain either until After I had mine done..And it also went down my legs!!
