Far Infrared heating pad?

Has anyone used this heating pad?I'm thinking on getting it but it's about $200.I use a regular heating pad every day,but it doesnt go deep enough and my skin is turning red blotchies.

Any thoughts?

I think it's important to talk with your physician first. I have done a little research and so far haven't found anything conclusive about the benefits except what's said by sales sites. There are some conditions for which infrared therapy is considered effective; your physician is your best resource here.
