Flare after Instillation

I just had my sixth bladder instillation of Uracyst. The first five were OK, helped somewhat (instead of getting up every 2 hours at night, could make it to 3). But this last treatment flared me up, I couldn't go for 15 minutes without going to the bathroom! Feel so discouraged now, afraid to do another instillation, don't know what else to try. My doctor told me there's nothing he can do!

Canagirl....I get instills of heparin and sometimes they bother me and sometimes they don't. I had one on Sunday and I just knew I was going to flare, when she slide the catheter in, I felt discomfort and most of the time it's not too bad. Now it's Tues and I feel like crap...feel the urge but then it's a trickle. Also feels like I'm going to let go (like urine is going to drip out) and that doesn't happen very often. Keep your head up. I understand completely

Thanks for the support. I feel quite discouraged, but maybe I should continue and see what happens with the next one. Where do you get your instill done? Mine is at a hospital, but in a locker room with a toilet there, seems so unsanitary. Do the disinfect you first or use any anesthetics? My nurse doesn't.
