Period

I posted the other day about having visible blood in my urine. The next day I got my period so I really believe that was where the blood was coming from. although my period arrived a day later I've read the a lot of women's IC symptoms are worse during their period. I'm 45 and it usually never bothered me but lately right before my period, I'm in horrible pain. I get burning very bad prior/during/after urinating and also the worst cramps down below. I also have all the urgency/frequency even more and sometimes I have a hard time urinating. Are these symptoms common for others? I also think I'm in peri-menopause so maybe that is also making it much worse for me. Ughhhh.. Thanks for your help.

I also have those symptoms before and during my period. I hope you feel better asap!

Yes, I have all of what you have worsen before and during my period. Sometimes it even starts a week before my period does. It's the worse thing ever but then I have always had a bad time with my periods from day one. I'm 44 but not sure if I'm premenopause.

Thanks to Katie & Waterflow for responding to my post. It seems as though my IC has gotten much worse through the years. :(
