Has anyone taken Urelle and it doesn't turn your pee blue. My Dr. gave me a script for it on Friday and since I have a very painful 1st bladder installation
(it really burning my urethra for some reason and hurt for 3 days, it was worse than after my cysto! If anyone has a reason for that too, that would be helpful, my dr. is on vacation now)
Anyway, I took the Urelle all weekend and only a few times did my pee turn light greenish/blue. All the other times it was normal. I'm hoping my body is processing it correctly.
Thanks.

How much are you taking? If I take only one or two a day I don't have consistently blue pee--the color comes and goes, is often greenish. If I take it 4 x day for several days I work up a pretty good color. If you are drinking tons of water that would dilute the color as well. I would say not to worry about the the color too much; others have posted similar reactions. as for pain relief, sometimes it can take a few days before you see benefits, especially if your bladder is really irritated.

Thanks,
My dr. thinks it might be more my urethra that is the problem, that's why she did the bladder installation. She said that if I felt relief than it's probably my bladder but if not than it's probably coming from my urethra. All I know is after the installation it hurt so bad everytime I peed for 3 days! At one point I had taken the Urelle, inserted lidocaine jelly and taken Tylenol 3 and I still felt it. The bladder pressure never went away either. This is a new dr. (finally a uro/gyno who knows what she is doing) unfortenately that also means I'm starting from scratch again. My first uro did a cysto/hydro and said it was normal but didn't explain what that meant and when I got a copy of the report to give to my uro/gyno it didn't state what the bladder looked like afterwards (which is the determining factor for IC diagnosis). So my uro/gyno said she might have to do it again for herself!!

I would think that somewhere there are pics on file of your bladder during the cysto/hydro. I would contact the uro who did it and try to find out where those records are. That seems pretty negligent. There must be something more than the copy of the report that was sent to you afterwards.
