you know it's bad when your doc says, "i've never seen this before...." that's not something you wanna hear and something i'm sure many of us have heard before so i'd figured i'd throw this one out there and see is any of you guys got anything for me :help:

my main symptoms are bladder burning some urgency/frequency,but now i seem to have a whole new symptom :loco: this has happened with almost every med i have tried. happened with elmiron, valium, zyrtec, atarax, and a couple more i can't remember. basically whenever i take something, about 1-2 hours after i get an icy/hot sensation in my bladder, if i try to 'push through' and continue taking something it then turns into icy/hot plus intense swelling (i can feel my pulse in there) and then gets really irritated etc. has anyone ever had this? the icy/hot feeling feels EXACTLY like when your foot is falling asleep or when it finally gets some blood back into that area. EXACTLY like that.

my brain is trying to make sense of it and the only thing that i can think of is that those masty (should be 'nasty') celly thingys are going nutty and i'm having some sort of allergic reaction? does anyone relate? my doc now is great (side note last doc, a real famous guy, told me that i was 'OCD' and was resistant to taking meds...plainly he thought i was making my symptoms up...i was floored by that...needless to say i found a new doc) anyway...my doc is trying to help but i figured i'd put it out there to all you guys since it seems sometimes we know more that the docs.
so, anybody got any ideas? thoughts? sound familiar? etc?

hope everybody's having a great weekend!

It sounds like you may have some allergic reactions.

Can't say that I have ever felt those feelings in my bladder, but I agree with Donna. It could be caused by an allergic reaction.

"Masty (nasty) celly thingys..."

Well, at least IC doesn't take away our cleverness and sense of humor!! :lmao:

I agree it sounds like an allergic reaction of some kind. And I do hope you find an answer soon...{{{HUGS******
