Did Menopause change your symptoms?

I am just staring to go thru menopause at 52. My IC symptoms are closely tied to changes in my hormones, so I was wondering if maybe my IC symptoms would get better as the hormones stop fluctuating. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

My IC started with a change in my hormones during perimenopause. You might want to go and read my Success Story that I posted back in December 2007 entitled, Estrogen as an IC Treatment. To access it click on my name and then go to View Public Profile, click on that, then go to Statistics and click on that. You will see Threads started by NancyB. Click on that. My mom had a mild case of IC - and for her - once she went through Menopause her symptoms did improve. Now she rarely notices her bladder unless she takes vitamin C. However, she never suffered from daily pain or frequency - she would just have random flares.
