birth control pills

Hi everyone. Today I decided to start birth control pills and was wondering if these had any positive/negative effects on IC? I would appreciate any input before I start them on Sunday. Thanks!:angel:

Taking birth control pills (Necon 1/35) definitely has helped control my IC. (In fact, I got IC when I quit a bc pill I'd been on for years.)

my birth control has defiantly helped my symptoms! good luck!

It helped me too but I took it so I would only have my period 3 times a year. If I took it the normal way it didn't help as much but I think because I always had bad periords and that made my IC worse too.
