enablex?

I was diagnosed Tueday with IC...my doctor put me on enablex... I've taken it once a day so I've been on it 4 days...well last night I started having feeling that I have bugs on me..I can pinpoint the spot too...right now I feel like I have a spider crawling on my stomach.. it's freaking me out and I itch and swat and keep touching the spots and getting my skin irritated. I also started prelief today (I heard about it on here, my doctor said nothing of it).... Has enablex ever caused this to anyone? I looked on the website and didn't see anything about skin crawling....:loco:

I think it would be a good idea to call your doctor and ask. Sometimes we can have strange reactions to medications and there are others you can try.

I have never taken any Enablex before. Geez! I have seen the commercial with the ballooons, but I never heard about a feeling that bugs are crawling on an individual. That may freak me out a little bit, too. I guess that stopping the medication would take the feeling away. I would tell the doctor. Of course, many of us are on Elmiron. Oh, well! I do keep Prelief. It never causes any trouble with me. By the way, I have learned about some medications on here that were not mentioned by any doctor to me. (whether or not Prelief is considered a medication) Ok, then. Let us know and be good.
