I was taking cystex which is similar to urelle except that it does not contain that hycosamine which is an anticholergenic. The package said to take 2 pills every 4 hours. I was only taking 1 pill each night. I am sensitive to meds so I start out slow. ANyhow, after being on the 1 pill a night for two weeks I woke up in the middle of the night on Sunday with extreme stomach pain( like severe gas but in the upper stomach). I then vomited. I felt slightly better after I puked. The next day I just went real easy on my stomach eating only easy to digest things. I did not take any more of the cystex. I read that cystex and urelle both contain asprin. I told my pharmacist what heppened and she said it was most likely the asprin componant in the cystex that made me get sick. She said that asprin can cause spontansous stomach bleeding in some people.
Has anyone else had this reactiont to urelle or cystex? This sucks becuase the cystex was actually helping my bladder pain alot. But I do not want to get stomach bleeding or worse. Any suggestions?
