Ultram and IC

Hi,
I am newly diagnosed with IC. The doctor has me on elavil, elmiron and ultram ER. My ? is The Ultram seems to upset my reflux, if it hurts my stomach is it hurting my bladder? I don't have the frequency. I only get up 1 time at night, and only use the bathroom normally during the day. I do have a burning sensation kind of like in my vagina way up inside. It never seems to go away. My doctor says I have a mild case. I just can't seem to live with the burning.

I do very well on ultram ER. I like it lots better than the every 4 hour kind. I always take it with food. Elmiron can take up to six months or longer to be effective, but those who are helped say it's well worth it.
