Uretha pressure

I just have a quick question. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with IC, but had symptoms for many years. I am lucky to have a just a mild case. When I am in a flare my uretha feels so heavy. It feels like it's swollen and irritated and something is pressing on it. Is this a common symptom. When the flare is over the heaviness goes away. Thanks.

That is one of the most common symptoms I have as well. Its not a pain, sting, or burn so much as pressure. I am still in the process of being formally diagnosed with IC but I'm curious about the same thing.
