Butt spasms after speculum?

I've had butt pain that lasted two weeks after having the speculum used before. Which I'm having butt pain again after having that done on Thursday but I'm also having butt spasms. They are actually more painful then the bladder spasms. Anyone else have this? I know it pushes on everything and everytime that thing is used it's painful down in my butt while it's there. Is that normal too? If you have had the spasms how long before they went away? I'm hoping they go away along with the butt pain. :rolleyes:

Well I have had tailbone pressure and numbness after seeing the GYN. but I know i have pelvic floor problems and since its all basically related I figured that was what it was. I don't know that I've ever had a butt spasm--sounds like I don't want to either!--J

It will be a week tomorrow this has been going on. I have hemmoroids too which are worse now after having that done. I go back to see my GP in March. If it's still going on I will ask her about it but doubt there is anything to do but wait. You would think they would come up with a better way of looking in there wouldn't you think? Maybe that's my reason for life. Coming up with a "happy" speculum.
