Hi,
Ive just joined this group and wondered if any of you used online pharmacies ?
My doctor is really unsympathetic to my chronic pain problems and wont prescribe the meds I need. For the past year I've been using online pharmacies to get my pain medications.
This one looks better than most in that you can pay COD for your meds which I think is brilliant. Anyway - I've booked my physical exam for tomorrow as it looks a better than the site I usually use.
Have any of you used this site and know when I should get my meds? I'm guessing Wednesday? I'll let you know just wanted others opinions!

welcome to the icn. i'm not sure about that site but i will look threw my notes and books to see what if anything i found on that site. I do know if you will go up and look into the low income board the sites i have posted there is safe i checked all those sites out the best i could so for what i could find out those was safe sites.
I will look for you and see if i have any info on that for you.
but if you was happy with your old mail order i would stick with it until you found out for sure.
sending you hugs and prayers

I have some real concerns about any pharmacy who will sell prescription medications to anyone without a prescription written by a physician. I know there are some doctors out there who will sell even narcotics without ever seeing the patient. Obtaining drugs in this way is not legal, ethical, or safe and I would discourage anyone from doing it. Not too long ago an Oregon physician lost his license to practice medicine for this very reason.

If your physician is unwilling to prescribe appropriate pain medications for you, I suggest you see a different physician --- or go to a pain specialist.

Sending healing thoughts,
Donna

well i would have to agree with you donna i didnt know they did that i always thought you had to have something written by a doctor that never crossed my mind.
There is no way i would ever buy anytype of prescription without my doctor telling me and how can these company do that that really makes me mad:mad: i understand people are in pain but if they are getting them without a prescription then it could be anything that is very dangous i do agree with that.
I guess i need to read some post more cleary i didnt think in a million years anyone could buy them without aprescription i guess you live and learn everyday.
I do agree with donna so much please get a prescription before buying anything over the internet you don't really know what the heck they are selling you.:( this is highly dangous.

I just wanted to say that I have got a prescription and I did have a consultation with a doctor. I've had a physical and a consultation so the pharmacy aren't just sending me the meds!

I also misunderstood your post. I'm glad that you did actually see this doctor in his office and not just the telephone interview some of the questionable on-line pharmacies are using.
