IC and Doxycycline

A few days ago I was prescribed doxycycline for
a throat/ear infection. About an hour after taking
it I noticed having a burning sensation along with
more frequency. Has anyone else experienced this
with this medication? Should I ask for a different
antibiotic? It's so weird. I never had problems with
medications before IC.

i would def call your dr. and tell them the problems you are having with the med. There is certain medications i cant take becasue it bothers my IC. The only thing i found to be kind of werid about this is i have actually been prescribed doxycycline for a UTI before.
