Does anyone feel their best during their fertile time of month with IC

I feel my best during my fertile time. That's when I can actually have relations with my husband. It's really the only time I feel almost 90% better.
Then anytime nearing my period or during or after my period I burn so bad and intercourse is awlful. Anyone else go through this with IC ?
I can't figure out why the Ic is so much better during my fertile time...
