Has anyone had to increase dosage?

Hello everyone!!! I have not posted for awhile. I can say that I had been feeling better for a time. The past few weeks I have been flaring worse. I started taking 20mg of dextro 2x day in June. I feel it has helped alot. But, the past few weeks have been pretty bad, Has anyone had this problem and had to increase the dose? My uro wouldnt think about giving me this, but my GP was very helpful and encouraging. I have to call him every month for refills , and this months supply is almost gone. I am think of asking him to increase the doasage. Has anyone else had to do this? Thanks Barb:hi:

Hi Barbclay,

I have been on dextro 5mg twice a day for almost a year. The only time I have had any problems with pain was when I had a bladder infection. You might want to get it checked out.
