I'm beginning to think that mine does! I've been doing everything else right - reducing stress, eating properly etc. etc. But this month, about a few days before my period and during, I feel like all my symptoms have escalated more then they usually do around this time ...
Anybody else have any ideas? Anyone else had the same?

I'm a little late on this. I have the same problems but my doctor thinks I have endometriosis. However, many women have this problem and take a birth control pill for it. It works really well for many women. I have high BP so I can't do this. I wish I could though.
I use heat and that works for me. I also use Motrin (for some reason I can tolerate it but many IC'ers can't). Also, regular yoga type gentle stretching and gentle walking works.

I'm only symptomatic starting a few days before my period and then lasting through the whole thing until about 2 days after. (As if having your period didn't stink enough). I'm not sure if it's the low estrogen or progesterone that causes it, but I don't want to mess with my hormones more by taking the pill, so I just have to deal with it as it comes. At least it's predictable, and I know when my period ends, this will too. My uro suggested getting a rescue instill each month right before my period starts to sort of coat and soothe it preventatively. I may try that at some point.
